Are battery-operated accents breaking into the mainstream? The Makey Awardsmight not be the Oscars, but I bet this trend starts cropping up on the red carpet.
Project Runway alumni and “tech wearables expert” Diana Eng was called in by the World Maker Faire to help design a futuristic theme for the ceremony.
With the help of zombie make-up artist Jessica Jade Jacob, Eng created light-weight, easily hidden, battery operated LED prosthetics that were fashion forward.
