The DIY boob job: Revealing the secret behind Cheryl Cole’s pert Cannes appearance
Plunging necklines have been the catalyst for many a bosom blunder.
But Cheryl Cole managed to maintain her modesty as she flaunted her cleavage in a daring Stephane Rolland dress on the Cannes red carpet.
Rumours emerged that the 27-year-old might have had surgical enhancement to get such a sculpted look, but further investigation has revealed that a new type of taping technique was behind her envy-making pert appearance.
DIY boob job revealed: It is reported that Cheryl Cole achieved her pert Cannes appearance using a new ‘latticework’ taping technique
Sporting a fuller,- yet immovable – cleavage than others such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Gwen Stefani who also opted for open front gowns, Cheryl managed to keep everything in place.
Despite whispers that the X Factor USA judge had gone under the knife, it has been reported that in fact Cheryl created a latticework bra from tape that was invisible to onlookers.
Style and beauty expert Nikki Hambleton-Jones told us: ‘We have seen a ton of female celebrities showing off and celebrating their hot bodies and womanly curves on the red carpet lately.
‘An A-lister needs to look seriously flawless when they wear revealing outfits to ensure there are no wardrobe malfunctions that can be picked apart.
Taking the plunge: Gwyneth Paltrow and Gwen Stefani also opted for open front dresses, using savvy taping techniques to make sure everything stayed in place.
‘This is why the lattice work bra technique seems to be becoming popular with the likes of Cheryl Cole.
‘This involves fashioning bust and body support from tape and allows the celebrity to create a custom-made, barely detectable bra with good firm hold – nipping, tweaking and enhancing all the right areas.
Tape time: La Senza’s Stick And Show Roll could be used for the bra-free look ‘Not to mention it’s less harsh on the purse strings than other options’

Knowing how to avoid any embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions is must before entertaining the thought of wearing the flesh-flashing designs that have become popular on the catwalk and among the A-list.
But the new plunge might not be for everyone.
Celebrity fashion stylist Gabrielle Teare told us that this new latticework technique is only feasible for those with smaller busts.
She said: ‘To be honest, Cheryl Cole probably doesn’t even need a bra but for women with a larger cup size it’s more difficult.
‘You wouldn’t just want to rely on a few pieces of tape.
And, she says, these new trends are difficult to pull off for those with a fuller figure.
‘I don’t recommend tape to my clients. I tell them to find a stick-on bra. It’s a lot more secure and just fits underneath the breasts.
‘You could also opt for flesh coloured underwear.’pping, tweaking and enhancing all the right areas.
